About Lady Bay Ballet
Lady Bay Ballet specialises in adult ballet classes and was created in 2014 with a passion to bring classical ballet to adults and a wider audience around Nottingham. This January Lady Bay Ballet is delighted to be opening its seventh weekly adult ballet class. All ballet classes are unique and have been specifically created by Mrs Cave who was trained at the Royal Ballet School, Central School of Ballet and Royal Academy of Dance. Lady Bay Ballet is proud to cater for adults of any age, ability or experience and has dancers ranging from 16 to 85 years old who attend class each week. Classes are friendly, encouraging and feel good. There is no booking required, all classes are drop in, open to all adults and pay as you go. In 2016 Lady Bay Ballet was recognised by BBC Radio Nottingham producers who came to interview Mrs Cave & its dancers in class, resulting in a fantastic piece that was broadcast. In 2017 Mrs Cave was then invited to come to the studios at BBC Radio Nottingham for a live interview with Alan Clifford.
Founder and Ballet Teacher
Mrs Cave began her professional training at eleven years old at White Lodge-The Royal Ballet School were she successfully graduated after five years training. Mrs Cave has over 20 years of experience professionally performing on some of the greatest stages including, The Royal Opera House, London Coliseum, Holland Park and Royal Albert Hall to name a few. All classes at Lady Bay Ballet are delivered by Mrs Cave who is a Registered Royal Academy of Dance Teacher (RAD) (RTS) also attaining a Professional Dancers Teachers Diploma (RAD-PDTD).
